Andy Rester

Andy oversees the implementation and management of all Information Technology systems and applications used by ABoR staff. A self-professed technology nerd, Andy loves problem solving and puzzles, and would do the job even if it wasn’t his profession. He has his MS in Information Systems from Mississippi State University and 25 years of experience in systems management.

Before joining ABoR in 2014, Andy was the Systems Administrator for the Texas Medical Board. A Mississippi native, Andy fell in love with Austin’s music scene and its striking hill country landscape when he moved here in 2010. He spends his free time taking photos, hiking, and watching football with his wife and dogs.
