This course will focus on understanding the real estate agent’s role during the closing process and how to best assist their client. It will also discuss things that can happen between the time the offer is written and time of closing. Topics of discussion include title insurance theory and practice, how to read a title commitment, how to read a HUD-1 and what documents their clients sign at closing. It will also show the importance of building quality business relationships title companies. Agents will learn to ask the right closing questions to help buyers and sellers through the closing process with confidence by allowing clients to be the decision makers.

Amber Brown

Amber Brown is the brokerage owner and Designated Broker for White Label Realty Co serving the Waco, Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding areas. She has over 12 years of experience in the real estate industry holding a variety of roles including production in residential sales, team executive assistant, brokerage compliance officer and eventually a designated broker and owner. She has an entrepreneurial background, opening & operating her own personal fitness studio for over 8 years as well as bar design and management for 4 years. Her career path has led her to becoming an expert in real estate education, operations, mentorship, and leadership development. 

Amber holds multiple certifications and designations as well as a TREC qualifying course instructor specializing in all three GRI courses, Legal I & II, Broker Responsibility, multiple Contracts courses and Advanced Social Media classes. Amber serves on multiple national, state and local association committees ranging from MLS/Technology, Professional Standards, Risk Reduction and Professional Development committees. She is a driven leader who loves to push the boundaries for growth while finding new and improved ways of shaping the real estate industry. Amber is passionate about education and as a Texas Realtors Faculty Member she takes this role very seriously. She focuses on leadership training, mentoring and consulting with realtors to ensure they fulfill their fiduciary responsibility to serve clients at the highest level. When she is not at the office, Amber loves to spend time exploring her community with her husband, four kids and two dogs."
