The Texas-specific GRI® designation is obtained by attending an intensive series of classes that totals 90 hours of classroom instruction. Earning the GRI® designation is a way to stand out to prospective homebuyers and sellers as a REALTOR® who has gained in-depth knowledge on technical subjects as well as the fundamentals of real estate. Texas REALTORS® who have earned their GRI® earn twice as much as non-designees.  

Texas GRI® has been updated to keep pace with changing laws, technology, and best practices. This designation satisfies the 90-hour SAE requirement for new Texas REALTORS®.

Candy's academic journey includes graduating from the graduate program at REALTOR® Univeristy with majors in Residential Real Estate Sales, Marketing, and Management and Real Estate Appraisal and Valuation Services. This comprehensive education equips her with a solid foundation in critical aspects of the real estate profession.

Candy also holds the esteemed position of Senior Instructor at the Texas Association of REALTORS®, where her exceptional teaching abilities shine. Candy's commitment to education has garnered recognition, including the 2012 Educator of the Year award from the state association and the prestigious title of Distinguished Educator of the Year by the Real Estate Business Institute. 

Currently, Candy Cooke holds the esteemed position of Past President at the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI), reflecting her commitment to advancing the industry through leadership and education. She makes significant contributions across Texas in the real estate and appraisal sectors.
