Job Hammond is a dynamic real estate professional, industry leader and academic known for his drive, energy and passion in all aspects of real estate. With a foundation in the technology sector, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies and emerging startups, gaining valuable experience that informs his real estate practice. As a Broker-Associate at Dash Realty, Hammond was honored as the 2019 REALTOR® of the Year by the Austin Board of REALTORS®. His areas of expertise include relocation, working with investors, listing properties, assisting first-time homebuyers and helping clients with "move-up" purchases. He utilizes advanced strategies and market insights to give his clients a competitive edge when buying or selling real estate. In addition to his brokerage role, he serves as an Associate Professor and Assistant Department Chair of Real Estate at Austin Community College. Hammond holds an associate’s degree and a Real Estate Certificate from Austin Community College, along with three master’s degrees: a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Management and a Master of Science in Marketing. Committed to lifelong learning, he has earned over 30 real estate designations, certifications, and endorsements, and completed more than 400 real estate courses, totaling over 3,000 hours of education. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hammond demonstrated his dedication to personal and professional growth by completing an education marathon, finishing 72 courses in 491 hours over three months. Hammond is a passionate advocate for his profession and actively contributes to the real estate community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Unlock MLS and the Austin Board of REALTORS® (2019-2025) and is the Regional Vice President for the Texas Association of REALTORS® (2022-2026) Executive Board. In 2025, he will assume the role of Vice Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee at the Texas Association of REALTORS®. In 2024, Hammond served as an Alternate on the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Educational Standards Advisory Committee (ESAC). Dedicated to fostering diversity, he also served as the 2023 President of the Austin Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA). |
